Today's prompt on Write Tribe's Festival of Words 3 is 'Blog Love' to showcase other blogs. Now I personally have a lot of blogs in my watch list that deserve showcasing but I'm going to talk about two very different blogs here today that help heal you... one looking after your physical ailments while the other focuses on easing your inner tensions.
Diabetes by Dr Riyaz Sheriff is almost into it's fourth year now in the blogosphere. With nearly a 120 posts, the doc provides up-to-date information not just on what the world is up to in the field of diabetes but also how it affects us as Indians. This includes general knowledge on how the disease acts, what to look out for and what new drug formulations are available in the market with their pros and cons.
When you consider that two out of every 5th Indian is diabetic and that we are officially 'the world capital of diabetes', I think it becomes relevant to bookmark a blog by this hardworking doctor who doesn't just write on the topic but also answers all queries put forward to him.
Love Life. Love People. Love God by Dr Danny Simon is coincidentally also entering it's fourth year. Danny's blog is a truly motivational blog with lots of lovely insightful posts which are aimed at making you stronger from within. An absolute gem of a person, he inspires people every day in real-life too with his kind words of hope and when you read his posts, you know this is someone who thinks from his heart.
Both these people have, in very different times of my life, been an inspiration to me and helped me sail through troubled waters. That is why, above anyone else, I can blindly vouch for them as wonderful human beings.
Author's note: This is my take for the prompt 'Blog Love' on Write Tribe's Festival of Words 3.

The blogging community is a much better place than the caustic real world , I feel. Its filled with creative and compassionate people from my experience - the others don't have time to join in just to harass online :)
