While I'm gone... the Connoisseur's choice

I gotta go away... There's no escaping that fact. I need to read like crazy if I'm gonna clear my exams and become the doctor I entered this city to become in 2007.

I was touched by someone I've never met asking me "Will you atleast post blogs?" I said "No.. I really need to de-Facebook myself and de-blog too for awhile. "

Then she gave me a suggestion.. why don't you put up a "Top posts" list so we can read it ?

"Duh !! That's what the SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE widget is on the sidebar" I replied.

Well, apparently, that's still too big a list !!

So before I leave, I'm leaving you a buffet of my personal fav blogposts which I'm guessing many haven't read - you know, back from the good old days between 2005 - 2008.

Man, it's been a long time.

Ok, fine.. so going by genre, here are my own personal favourites.

That's 31 articles I count, one for each day of the month.

This should keep you all busy for the rest of the month on the days when you really need to read something and the net just ain't producing articles fast enough for ya.

Both were memories I'd rather not remember. But they were also valuable lessons that being a doctor isn't just about the shiny coats and the free clicky-top pens.

2c) Classifiles ( The origin of ButtCrack ) and

I'm always at my best when I'm ignorantly super confident.

Also my short lived Tabloid Section under Godyears.. I really should start again soon once I'm done with my studies.

Oh, and it wouldn't be complete without choosing a Ruby post , of course.

3.Romance is mostly personal so some choices mean more than others to me.

3a) To the Stranger I love where ever she maybe.

3b) Son of a Greater God I am eternally grateful to Ratzz for printing and sending this to my dad. Such selflessness is commendable in this day and age, especially considering we've never even met.

3c) Heartstrings about telling someone you love them... fact or fiction ?

4. Fiction... man, so many tasty bites here. I can't choose. My personal favs :

4a) What Dreams May Come, a BlogAdda Spicy Saturday pick winner.

4b) Shaktimaan and Dirty Ganga - the Movie I'm still waiting for sponsors for the movie, by the way.

4c)And of course, my trips to Amberville ,

4d) and the return via Payback. I just love writing filmi noir style.

5. Lessons from Life had some inspiring articles too, looking back.

5a) The Jungle Parable is a personal favourite. It was a message I really wanted to convey.

5b) So too for the Scrubs article.

5c) God in Tetrapack One I always quote when talking about Human Gods and our Indian mentality towards them.

6.Moments of anger : include the one where

6a) the girls got beaten up in the pub in Mangalore,

6b) being held captive by fanatics over nothing and

6c) why I refuse to vote.
